Step 1: Clean out Golf Bag - I try to take out any items that add extra weight/room in order to make space for the essentials.

Frogger Golf Brush with Ghost Golf towel and Vokey wedges.

Step 2: Clean Clubs - To give myself one fewer excuse for why I hit a bad shot I usually try and give my clubs a full cleaning before any major golf trip. That way they are locked and loaded for the first tee.

Step 3: Take off removable Golf Heads - One of the most common things to get damaged in transit is your driver and woods. This is why I generally take off any of my removable heads to try and limit any risk. I usually wrap them up in their original headcover and then tuck them away in my golf bag.

  • Note: If you have any customizable shafts. Make sure you take note of the setting before taking off the headcovers

Step 4: Cover iron heads - In order to protect my irons from clacking around during the flight I use some of the socks I am bringing to protect them. This way I save space in my luggage and ensure my irons don’t get nicked up in route.

Step 5: Wrap Wood Shafts With Towel - To add another layer of protection I always wrap the wood shafts with a towel.

Step 6: Add a Golf Travel Bag Backbone - If you are using a soft case, using a backbone is an absolute must. This ensures your bag has an extra level of support and reduces the risk of damage

Step 6: Zip up your bag and enjoy the links!
