2 Month Check-In With The GolfForever Program

2 Month Check-In With The GolfForever Program

One of my new year resolutions for 2023 was to commit to working out 3-4 times a week! Now that we are two months into the year, here is a check-in on how things are going!

Exercise Done:

  • 9 Rounds of Golf (All Walking)

  • 4 Gym Sessions

  • 8 Range/Simulator Sessions

  • 24 GolfForever Training Sessions

As you can see, aside from golfing, using the GolfForever Training program has been my main way to get in better golf shape this season! Used by PGA Tour winners like Scottie Scheffler, Ryan Palmer, and Justin Leanord I figured this would be the best way to ensure I was making systematic progress! P.S. If you have seen the recent Netflix Series “Full Swing” you will see Scottie using the trainer to prepare for a tournament.

The Impact so far speaks for itself:

  • Flexibility is improving

  • Peak Ball speed is up +135mph (+5 mph from the start)

  • Avg Course Driving Distance 230 yards (Courtesy of my Garmin S62 & CT10 Sensors)

  • Broken 80 for the first time in 8 years!

If you are interested in getting better at golf and are interested in an all in one training program I do personally recommend The GolfForever Program. And this is coming from someone who hates formal exercise

Why I Like The GolfForever Program:

  1. Simplicity: No need for a full gym set up, all the equipment you need is provided in the initial package and can be set up in even the smallest of apartments (trust me mine is tiny).

  2. Customization: The program has you take a quick assessment at the beginning to make sure exercises are catered to your needs and skills.

  3. Exercise Diversity: Each session is different and you don’t feel like you are doing the same thing over and over which keeps exercise more interesting.

  4. Focus on flexibility/balance: This is an area I seriously lack and found that most other programs don’t really emphasize. As someone who is very inflexible and also works a desk job, embedding more stretch time in my life has been a great addition for golf and general life.

  5. Low Time Commitment: Each workout is between 30 min to 1 hour at the most (depends on how many reps you do) and on days you are very busy you can substitute with one of the shorter sessions available in the library.

Feel free to ask me any questions below in the comments or on IG! Excited to continue with the program and see where it takes me!

P.S if you are interesting in getting you hands on a trainer and starting the program be sure to use the code “THEGOLFGUY” at checkout for free shipping (only applies to US Orders)

Please note I am a brand ambassador for both the GolfForever Program and Garmin Golf and earn a small commission for every item sold.
